PROFILE
I was born in the South Wales valley town of Rhymney and developed a keen interest in photography from an early age, always carrying a camera with me as I explored the surrounding landscape, especially the Brecon Beacons and the Gower Coast.
For many years I published the magazine – “Walking Wales” and thoroughly enjoyed travelling thousands of miles each year through the ever-changing landscape that makes up our great Principality. I also spent five years researching, photographing and writing the ‘Complete Guide to Snowdon’, a most amazing mountain.
Whilst working in the adventure travel business I travelled to many parts of the world and have wonderful images to show from other diverse countries and continents too.
My special interest is in water, whether it is a mountain stream, a river, a waterfall, lake or the sea. I also appreciate and respect mountains and higher ground especially when I can have the place to myself to really capture the essence and atmosphere at the time.
I hope that you will enjoy the many images in front of my camera that I have ‘Stopped in Time’.
